Town Maps from 1860
with names of households

Video interviews with area citizens are underway - we've completed twelve of them so far. These are fascinating glimpses of everyday life in our area towns over the past century.
Volunteers at the Society have been busy scanning and cataloguing items donated. We have recently received such things as:
-
nine scrapbooks kept by the late Pauline Durgin of Bingham with articles from the 1940's through the 1970's.
-
items from the Dunton and Stuart families of Moscow and Pleasant Ridge.
-
a genealogy of the Chase family
-
The diaries of Abby Spaulding of Caratunk - early 1900's
-
reference books on Maine and area history
-
hundreds of photographs of the Goodrich, Sands, Smith families of Bingham
-
and so much more!
