Mr. and Mrs. Harry La Pointe and daughter, Janet Anne, of Eustice, were at their home here over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hunnewell have moved into the apartment over Harold Collins.
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Hunnewell moved into the Albert Reynolds house on Baker Street.
Mrs. Leroy Cooley of Bluehill visited her mother, Mrs. Martin Atwood, recently.
Miss Lorraine Verney and Merle Arno returned on Monday to Bedford Hills, New York, where they are employed.
J.E. Swan and family, and Miss Betty Worthley, a guest, returned to their home in Bedford Hills, New York, last Friday.
Errold Hilton and Keith Hilton were called to Richmond, Virginia last week because of the illness of their father, Frank Hilton.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boutin and daughter, Barbara, are visiting relatives in Taunton, Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Giberson of Brownville Junction were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Giberson.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hill of Jackman were in town Saturday.
Miss Janet Smith of Waterville spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Smith.
Perry Goodrich of Portland spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Claude Goodrich.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Quimby wee in Portland last week to attend the wedding of Mr. Quimby's brother, Langdon Quimby, and Miss Elizabeth Merrill.
Miss Doris Atwood has entered the training school for nurses at the Central Maine General Hospital in Lewiston.
Miss Ada Senior, teacher of the first and second grades school, returned Sunday from Sanford where she was called by the illness of her sister.
Bingham Chapter, Order of the Easter Star, met in short form on September 14. This was the first meeting of the fall season. Associate Matron, Mrs. Leslie Durgin, presided as Worthy Matron. Mrs. Howard Owen was out of town.
Edward Rindfleisch and Carl Stewart of Ballston Spa, New York, have been spending a few days in this vicinity for fall fishing.
Miss Flora Wing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wing, has returned from Boston, Mass., after working during the Summer at "The Birches" on Moosehead Lake. She will enter Emerson College of Oratory as a sophomore this Fall.
Miss Rebecca Spalding, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Spalding, has resumed her duties as hairdresser in Boston, Mass., after visiting her parents for a week.
Colonel and Mrs. Ted Hills of Washington, D.C., have bought the Andrew J. Libby place in Embden where they will make their home.
Miss Eileen Bowen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bowen, have [sic] entered Westbrook Junior College as a freshman in the Liberal Arts Course. Mr. and Mrs. Bowen and Stanley Eames drove Eileen to Portland.
The Nightingale family has moved into the apartment over the former Thompson's Restaurant.
