Funeral services for the late Mrs. Fannie G. Clark, 78, widow of the late Albion Clark who died Monday morning after a lingering illness were held Wednesday afternoon at the late home with Rev. E. C. Evans, pastor of the Congregational church officiating. The remains were placed in the tomb at the Bingham cemetery.

Mrs. Clark was born in Bingham, March 24, 1860, the daughter of Eliphalet and Esther Gilman Cooley. She received her education in the schools of Bingham and before and after her marriage there was a teacher in the public schools. Mr. and Mrs. Clark came to Madison about 25 years ago.

A member of the Bingham Baptist church, Forget-Me-Not branch, I.S.S. and Kennebec Valley Grange, Mrs. Clark was, until her health failed a few years ago, most active in the work of the Sunshine Society and the Grange.

Surviving are two sons, Perley and Arthur Clark; two sisters, Mrs. C.J. Berry of Millinocket and Mrs. May York of Skowhegan; a brother, Alden Cooley of Lemhi, Idaho and five grandchildren.
